Engagement Results & Council Decision

Staff presented a summary of public feedback to Council at the Committee of the Whole (COTW) Meeting on June 20. Read the Engagement Summary Report included in the meeting agenda.

Immediately following COTW, a Special Meeting of Council took place to consider next steps on the proposed sale of Max Turyk Community Centre. Read staff's Request for Decision Report submitted to Council.

During the Special Meeting, a motion was made by Council directing staff to conclude consideration of the sale of Max Turyk Community Centre and not advance the potential disposition of the facility.

Council voted unanimously to support the resolution and not advance the proposed sale.
